Purpose
To conduct
two body abrasive wear test, with fresh abrading
surface for every cycle.
Description
Sample under test is pressed on a wheel,
which is covered with abrasive coated paper or
cloth. The sample slides and after every cycle
the wheel rotates by 0.9 degree. This ensures
a fresh abrasive surface every cycle.

| The equipment is programmed
to stop after preset number of cycles.
The loss of weight of the sample after the test
is measured. Test variables are load, number of
cycles, abrasive grade, abrasive material and
grit size.
