12 samples are mounted on the periphery
of rotary hub. The rim is made to rotate
in the moveable water tank. Three inlet
and three outlet pipes connect water tank
to reservoir.
External particulate content of water can
be controlled. The samples are made to spin
around in the water tank at pre-determined
sliding speed for a specific time. Weight
of sample before and after tests is measured.
Loss of wait indicates erosion resistance
properties of the material.
