The Ducom TR 294 – Shear stability tester is meant for evaluating the shear stability of polymer containing oils. Shear stability is established by studying permanent loss of viscosity when a sample is mechanically stressed under test conditions.

The Ducom TR 294 test system is designed to conduct shear stability tests on polymer containing oil in conformity to a variety of standards. This test instrument consists of a fluid reservoir, an injection, an atomization chamber with a diesel injection spray nozzle and a fluid cooling vessel.
