The Ducom TR 601 consists of a mechanical test system that permits users to test a journal bearing arrangement over a wide range of speeds. The movement is unidirectional rotation.
The loading arrangement of the system allows tests at high loads and has an inbuilt system to measure the applied radial load. Temperature and the flow rate of the lubricant in the test set up may be controlled. This instrument also has the capability of measuring film thickness.
User may record the load, speed and duration of the test. The TR 601 comes with the WinDucom software for data acquisition and display of results. The system has facilities to measure and record oil inlet temperature, test load, frictional torque and RPM. WinDucom software is used to present data in a variety of ways and CompariView provides a powerful tool to view and compare test results for evaluation. A built in safety system ensures operator and machine safety.
